Calendar

Here is a picture of this term's poster showing upcoming events, both things we're doing and things we think you'd like to know about.  All are welcome to come along to any of our meetings.

Charity Fundraising

This year we'll be raising money for the Besom in York which works to provide practical help to those most in need. Becky Lewis from Besom will be coming to speak to us about their work later this term, and we'll be raising money for them throughout the year.

Annual Retreat

Last year, AngSoc's annual retreat was at the Emmaus Centre near Scarborough, where we stayed from 28th February to 2nd March. The weekend was centred around the theme of prayer, and there was time for reflection and contemplation, along with plenty of fun! Take a look at the gallery to see a bit of what we got up to.

We are now beginning to plan next year's retreat- more details coming shortly!

Christian Aid Week 2014

Thank you very much to everyone who was involved in Christian Aid Week on campus!  This year we raised a fantastic £428.72!

Christian Aid Week on campus was organised by representatives from the different Christian societies on campus, including AngSoc, CaSSoc, UYCU, Revelation Rock Gospel Choir, and Speak.
